2016-present

Since 2016 I’ve been working on my metal project called Jarocy. March 2018 is the time when the full LP is coming out! It’s a huge project with tons of hard work of many people! 10 (!) video materials for every single song – 2 music videos and 8 playthroughs (available at www.youtube.com/c/egitarzystatv and in store on this site)! Social medias of e-gitarzystaTV reached over 12,000 subscribers/followers. In 2017 I was a participant in John Petrucci’s Guitar Universe in Glen Cove, New York and it was an extraordinary time!

2013-2016

In 2013 I started an e-eitarzystaTV youtube channel (by the time I write this, in 2016, it’s already been subscribed over 3,000 times and the videos have been watched over 200,000 times), which you probably heard of!The main reason for creating it was my knowledge of the hardships of finding valuable information that can change a lot in the beginner’s adventure with a guitar, provided they are given at the right time and in the right way. I wanted the beginners not to have to force the door, that has actually been opened long ago. My guitar courses are the result. They really can help to save a lot of time of the young adepts. I wish I had them when I first started to play. There will surely be more of them, as the ideas just won’t stop coming.

In 2013, I founded Tervilia band (which now is being formed under a new name and in a new line-up), which performed slightly different in comparison to hard, metal vibes. Again, there were some nice concerts, a CD and a couple of music videos. Feel free to check it out:

In 2013-2014, I played in the band named KORE (currently Soul’s Skeleton) with some excellent musicians! Our cooperation resulted in a three-track demo (more in the discography section). At the moment, they are looking for a publisher for their full-length album – warm greetings to them!

In the given period, I had a pleasure to be at a few cool guitar workshops with people like Jacek Krolik or… Steve Vai! Such an amazing experience really motivates for further work!

2011-2012

The Nameless band fell apart in 2011 due to personal reasons. Today, when I think about it, there were many things that could have been done in a different way, because there was really some great potential in there. However, we played a lot of concerts in different parts of Poland, some of them in a really nice company. Another valuable experience!

In 2012, I founded the JaroGuitarPlayer channel (the whole Unnamed Reflections album can be found there – you’re welcome to visit!), where I started with recording a few covers. Later, I put various things from my work there, such as recordings done together with my students.

“Glasgow Kiss” by Petrucci had a blast! I prepared it for Plock Guitar Confrontations, which I finally won in a 4th try.

2009-2010

At the turn of 2008 and 2009, I managed to establish my first real band, The Nameless. It was based on my own metal songs, written mostly with an excellent drummer – Łukasz Tomczak. As a result of our cooperation, we recorded a demo (Dead End Love –2009) and my first, professional longplay Unnamed Reflections (2010), which was carried out by Adi Owsianik. Then, I’ve come to learn what it really means to work in a real recording studio (suddenly it turned out that I’m not that perfect at what I play ;)).It was such a valuable experience and a great mobilization for further work. I remember the second week of the recording – all that sleep deprivation and exhaustion… I went out to the terrace and – despite all this – I thought that it’s exactly what I wanna do! The joy was truly overwhelming. Although I do not treat music as a sport competition, I let Łukasz Kurpiewski  make me a part of various reviews for guitar players.

2007-2008

In those years, a rock band called Na Bruku emerged from our school band. We played covers and  tracks that our physics teacher recorded with his band many years earlier. Here I learned a lot if it comes to playing with a band, arranging the pieces and writing my first riffs. The band fell apart due to lack of agreement to the band’s style (here’s a fun fact:  the second guitar player is responsible for a lot of graphic designs  for my projects – The Nameless and Tervilia’s CDs and e-GitarzystaTV intro and logo!). For those who are interested in such ancient times, I’m attaching a solo that I played at one of the concerts in 2008 (yeah, hard to believe but that’s me) and my performance of the greatest hit of Pink Floyd in a KORN version in our high school’s gym hall. I just want to show that everyone was a beginner once and no one becomes a master within few months. Don’t expect to release your first album after just few weeks of playing, even if you are doing a really good job.

Here you can also find more songs of Na Bruku band (I didn’t take part in these recordings, they were performed long before I even started to play).

At that time I also tried playing with wedding bands – thanks to that, I was able to afford buying a Jackson Rhandy Rhoads J).

2005-2007

My tutor said he couldn’t teach me anymore, so I decided to go to a music school (warm greetings to Jerzy Sochacki, my great teacher). At the same time, I started private music lessons on the electric guitar, which has always tempted me the most.It was a very busy time, full of intense exercise and development. During the adventure with music school, I won several awards in nationwide competitions. I made my first steps in music theory, not just sticking to reading notes and exercising my fingers. I also started giving my first, amateur, music lessons.

2003-2005

It was a period of my beginnings with a classical guitar under the supervision of a private tutor (in 2004 I already started to borrow my friend’s electric guitar). In 2004-2005, we started first rehearsals with some school friends. Shortly after that came our first performance. I even managed to win the 2nd place in the local music review in 14-16 years old category. At that moment I discovered how much I really enjoy playing. In 2005 I dedicated most of my free time to playing, putting computer games and biking aside.

1990-2003

My first adventure with a guitar started in 2003, at the age of thirteen. But my love for music manifested itself long before that – when I learned how to play music on my parents’ stereo (I was so tiny I needed a stool to reach it!).To this day I remember the chills it was giving me when I turned those CDs on. Little did I know that I will sacrifice my whole life to music later on.
